Imagination and playful creativity in every cocktail they serve at the Trešnjevka market

A comfortable, eclectically designed bar in the Trešnjevka neighborhood next to the market, Peaches and Cream, is run by two bartenders known on the Zagreb cocktail scene – Dominik Bečvardi and Mišel Posavec.

The bar seats 40 people, with another 40 on the terrace. On the weekends, it gets busy, so best book in advance since they refuse to serve people if at least one person does not have a seat.

Imaginative and creative in every aspect, from the cocktail chart filled with interesting titbits and illustrations to an easter egg hunt for exciting items hidden all over the space and an endless loop of classic cartoons on TV.

Short but well-thought-out drinks list covering all the bases, from craft beer to budget friendly, but classy wines, premium coffee and tea – and of course, cocktails: some classics, a couple of signature cocktails, and innovative ones.

We tried a Vodka based cocktail with mint, soda, hibiscus, and orange bitter, and a Pelinkovac sour with red vermouth and citruses (Pelinkovac is a Zagreb-favourite herb-based digestive). The last one we tried is a Peaches and Cream favorite called Smack Your Lips mixing port, bourbon, Nutella, and coconut.
